The work debates the judicialization of the elections of the DirectingBoard of the National Congress. The objective here is to examine the consequences of the judicial review of interna corporis acts in light of the role of the Supreme Court in guaranteeing democratic principles and the separation of powers, given the need for justification of Constitutional Jurisdiction. Through a comprehensive legal methodology, it critically emphasises the scope and limitations of judicial control of Legislative Power acts in the political system and contemporary Brazilian law. The rescue of the doctrine of interna corporis acts, in this regard, redefined the relationship between democracy and constitutional jurisdiction in Brazil.
