Abstract

This study aimed to analyze whether the procedures performed by national sport administration entities and government institutions, in relation to anti-doping, guarantee the integrity of sport in Brazil. The study was descriptive, with a qualitative approach, being carried out through semi-structured interviews. For the analysis of the information, content analysis was used. The results highlight, in relation to anti-doping actions, a set of initiatives carried out for Education, in face-to-face and online formats, and for doping control. Entities and institutions with responsibilities for anti-doping have acted in accordance with international regulations on the subject, from the perspective of the concept of organizational integrity. However, the different perspectives presented by the research participants show a misalignment in the discourse and warn of limitations in consolidating an anti-doping culture in Brazil.
