The pandemic of the new coronavirus has put Brazil in a state of calamity and the inaction of the federal government made subnational governments stand out in actions to deal with the health, social, economic and cultural impacts of the disease. In this context, e-participation initiatives have emerged across the country to deal with the pandemic. This paper presents a brief literature review of democracy and digital participation and maps the e-participation initiatives of municipalities that occurred during 2020, carried out through keywords research. 104 initiatives were raised from 72 municipalities, mostly from municipal councils. The research findings show a predominance of initiatives related to schools' reopening and homeschooling, as well as a regional expressiveness in the Southeast region of Brazil and in large cities.
