This article aims to verify the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the Judicial Recovery Institute. The study of the subject is important because the pandemic has the capacity not only to aggravate the economic-financial crisis of debtors who were already in the process of restructuring, but also to lead companies to make the request. The hypothesis is that the agents to whom the norm is addressed are restricted, in view of the necessary link with the entrepreneurial nature of the activity, ruling out a large part of activities whose economic relevance is latent. And the method is the deductive one, starting from research to the case.
